Student of Life

Most of us don't need more knowledge — we need applied knowledge that actually produces wisdom as we grow. That's the whole journey right there.

Tim Pratt Jr. speaking

A little about
who I am

To some degree, we're all students of life. That's not a catchphrase for me — it's how I actually see the journey. Nobody has it fully figured out, and the ones who act like they do are usually the ones not growing.

My background is rooted in ministry, faith, and leadership. I serve as an Executive Pastor and work professionally as a Systems Delivery Coach, which means I get to live at the intersection of faith and leadership every single day. I have a deep respect for Agile principles — not just as a framework for teams, but as a way of thinking about how people grow, adapt, and deliver. When you blend that with a pastoral heart, what you get is coaching that actually moves people forward without losing who they are in the process.

I've spent years walking alongside people in the context of ministry and marketplace — in the everyday spaces where real life actually happens. What I keep coming back to is this: the goal isn't more information. It's wisdom. James said it plainly — don't just hear the word, do it. Wisdom only comes when you apply what you know and let it change you from the inside out.

I'm a husband, a father of three, a pastor, coach, and a learner. Through the podcast, YouTube, and whatever else God opens up, the aim is simple — help people walk it out, not just talk about it.

A Little More About Me (Off the Clock)

✈️

Nothing beats family trips and spending time with my wife, kids, and the people I do life with.

📖

Bible nerd — always digging into context, application, and the slow work of looking more like Jesus day by day.

Coffee shops are my go-to spot, usually with a good book or Kindle in hand — backpack included, of course.

🧩

I enjoy studying leadership, management, and all kinds of frameworks. Mostly so I can break them, blend them, and apply them based on whatever context is in front of me.

🤝

I love collaborating with people. I'm convinced there are far more amazing people out there than what the noise and division often makes it seem.

Faith over formula

Real trust in God doesn't come from having all the answers. Clarity comes in degrees — through walking with Him and walking with others. God uses people to help us grow, and He uses us to help others do the same.

Applied knowledge

Information without application is just noise. The goal is wisdom — and that only comes from doing the work. As James reminds us, wisdom isn't just something you know — it's something you live out, something that changes how you move through the world.

Agile leadership

Blend solid coaching with the right systems and a willingness to adapt, reflect, and keep moving — you get organizations that don't just function, they thrive.

Honest & balanced

No performance, no polished version of life. Just real conversations with honesty, authenticity, and balanced transparency.

Stewardship

We are called to manage what God has entrusted to us. Stewardship is biblical, and when practiced well it helps us advance what God has placed in front of us.

AI

A thought partner to help organize ideas, move faster, and build systems — but never a substitute for discernment, wisdom, or the human side of leadership.

Student of Life
Podcast

This is a space where we lean into real life with honesty, authenticity, and balanced transparency. It's not about chasing more information — we already have plenty of that. We're here to apply it, walk it out, and grow in wisdom.

My prayer is that as you listen, God meets you in a personal way — revealing truths that have been with you all along and equipping you for the journey ahead.

Pastoral Leadership
Coaching & Counseling

Follow to Lead, Lead to Serve

I work with pastors, leaders, and everyday team members and believers who want clarity, growth, and accountability in both life and leadership.

My approach blends biblical pastoral care with practical coaching. Instead of therapy or clinical counseling, these conversations focus on helping people think clearly, grow spiritually, and move forward in areas where they feel stuck.

Drawing from years of experience in ministry leadership, coaching, and organizational leadership, I help people process real situations in life, family, ministry, and work — while keeping Christ-centered wisdom at the foundation.

This space is for honest conversation, reflection, and practical next steps.

What this is NOT
